Hello. Mack in "64 I bought a Blonde Guild Hollowbody. It was natural finish, white binding the pickguard was not the stairstep version. It was quite thick, 2 white pickups and the cutaway had a point. So, it was shaped a lot like the Starfire, but thicker body. I saw one on some rockabilly band website but could not get a hold of them to ask. I am attempting to locate a picture; but can anybody let me know the model? T-100D maybe?

I have played bass only since "68 but if I could I would like to get this type Guild again (Maybe my wife would forgive me for letting it go in "70 ;>] )

Thanks

Hello saddleboogie,

Welcome! From your description I would say you had a CE-100D ( or DP depending on the year of birth). In Blonde that would have been a gorgeous looking guitar!

Sincerely,

Hi Hans

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, it was gorgous. Only had one flaw; up by the "G" tuner was a cigerette burn mark. Case was an orangeish/brown.

Thanks for the info; I'll look for a picture on the web.

Sounds like it had Franz pickups on it, so the guitar was probably a '63 model or earlier.

I found a nice pic of a 'au naturel' CE-100, but alas no D. Very sweet guitar.
