Didn't want to piggy-back on anyone else's thread, so starting new. Picked up a Korean-made Aristocrat today. I wasn't really in the market, but "always wanted one." It's one of the few that I'm guessing I probably won't be able to afford a vintage one when i'm "ready to buy." Sure, I could save up, but it's not in the save-up queue right now when they're $5k+, so there's that....

Anyhow, it popped up on facebook, locally. The guy had it set up at my local shop (so I knew going in it was going to play well), the price was right and the guy was super nice. Came with a Guild Deluxe hardshell case for a starfire, so i'll have to do a case shuffle to figure out what to do with it. Maybe the T-100D. I was hoping my '81 CE-100 would fit (its case is TOAST), but it's too thin. Oh well.

Here's a quick shot. Another "opportunity guitar" that I wasn't planning on!

Congratulations! I’ve heard nothing but good things about those. Hope you enjoy it in good health.

Thanks! What are my case options here? Anyone have a case they like other than the Deluxe Guild? I'm going to throw it in once of my nicer gig bags for now so it's not bouncing around in that case, but i'll eventually want something else....maybe I should just wait and buy the guild case...

HNGD! I love the burst, but not sure about case options, but undoubtedly someone will chime in soon with a perfect fit option 👍

I think you've made me realize something, mav. I have an Epiphone case that fits my '76 M-75 Bluesbird, and I always wondered why a different Epiphone LP case did not. It must be because it's originally for a 339. It will most likely fit my NS M-75 Aristocrat too. I've never tried that, but I will tonight. Valuable info! Thanks! :C)

I cannot take full credit here, I learned of this thru another member here at LTG, possibly Default but I really don't remember. the Epi 339 case fits Bluesbird/Nightbird/Songbird/Aristocrat, and from what I gather from your post- also the solid body M-75.

This is unexpected - this might be my favorite acquisition in quite some time. I wasn't expected to like it this much!
I felt the same way when I got mine. I was just really curious to try one out, and it's been the guitar I pick up the most.
