Went to look at the clearance import Guilds at GC, and ended up with this P250E Memoir.

Being primarily an electric player, I'm not qualified to speak with any authority, but I think it's great at the clearance price. It has new guitar smell. It plays darn good straight off the GC wall with no issues. I've played some nice USA guild acoustics and I wouldn't try to compare. I had a GAD25, that was a good guitar and this one is at least that good. I'm happy!

Thanks very much everybody!

I have been playing the heck out of this little guy. It's so small, light, easy to grab. Actually I just give a little whistle and it jumps into my lap like a puppy.

The sound is charming. It will lose any volume or sustain competition, but it is just those qualities that work for many things. Lends itself to four note chords and dynamic control to a whisper. But then you can dig in and drive it hard, too.

I find it pretty amazing in today's world where everything costs so much, a decent little guitar can be bought new at this price point.
