New guy here. I live near the fellow selling the D 17. How do you compare the D 17 to the D 25M? I'm new at this guitar thing trying to learn. A real rookie. Saw a D 25 M for sale here. Smarter to go with D 25 over D 17 or vice versa? Right now they are comparably priced but the D 17 is down the block so to speak. Thanks!

I think you'd find fewer D 19s, but the thing is how is the action, condition, does it need a neck adjustment, and as so many here would ask, does it speak to you. I think, if you are watching out for one, especially all mahogany than its worth checking it out in person, if at all possible, there just aren't all that many all mahogany Guilds out there under any model number, and a lot of times there are only the cosmetic differences, like the D35, and the D40, I think...go have a look see, if its true love and it needs nothing.....well if you have it for 10 years and it self destructs, its cost you 70 bucks a year...and that ain't gonna happen. :lol: :lol: :lol: Steffan

No doubt there's more, using the search function & searching for D17, D 17 or D-17, with some patience you'd likely find more threads.
