We're anxious to get the road open to the east side and the DOT boys are hard at work clearing the snow!

Exciting job, with interesting sights and sounds!

The robins are here, but the flamingos haven't arrived yet.

We have robins around all year, and every now and then a flamingo will escape from a private collection. Years ago, a dairy farmer near Lynden found a Chilean flamingo in his barnyard.

It's a crazy world we live in, don't you know? 8)

Those pink things were invented in my home town...my father worked on the original injection molds.

There is a gent who takes credit for them, but he wasn't the one who came up with the design, although by all accounts he was a good artist/designer...they were working on the molds before he came to the company, married the owner's daughter, blah, blah...

I believe the one mid-background has had one too many pink ladies.

Funny that, the original manufacturer was "Union Products." do not know if the people who licensed the new production took the original name as well...

There is a business around here that puts a hundred of those things on your front lawn on your birthday...

Today is a strange day - we have both a wind chill warning and a UV warning!

Ah - the 21st Century!
