Larry,
My Aviator did come with 2 EMG HBs as an option. They placed the battery in the back control cavity. It didn't have a seperate cavity for batteries. Perhaps you never opened up the control cavity?

Yes, you see them come up on eBay, now and then. I bought my son one last Spring on eBay for $340. It didn't have original pups, but we fixed it up fine.

You sometimes see ones in original condition starting at $450 or so on eBay.

Best of luck in your search for one. BTW they were also known as "S-284" so you may want to try searching for that model number as well.

Have fun,

Thanks Tone,

I'm sure I just never looked for a battery. S-284 seems to be what they are more commonly refered to as..Thank You!

I will keep an eye on ebay.

Larry,

I couldn't help myself, but with your last name, my thoughts immediately went to potential avatars ...

By the way, I'm partial to the red Tony Esposito Blackhawks jersey.

Tony Esposito was the best! "The fussy housekeeper" they used to call him. Brother Phil wasn't so bad for this old Rangers fan, either. 8)

And this Esposito has never even been on ice skates!

Didn't know if you were a skater or not, Larry, but when I say the last name, an Esposito jersey immediately popped into my head.
