Old Guild bridge question.

I saw an old Guild on the for sale section of Acoustic Guitar Forum, but I’m wondering if the bridge had been replaced. I thought Guild always had that unique double dip at the bottom of their bridges. Were the early ones different?

Yes they were. I think the 'horns' on the bottom edge came around '69 - '70's. That one looks right. Wish I could buy. There are folks who make pretty good copies.

Yes, that bridge is original on that particular guitar. It's more like an instrument from 1955 though; maybe early 1956!
