Like a fool about 4 years ago i spilled some hot water on my g37 that was standing upright next to my stove, i thought then i would have [The expert] repair man in westerly repair the damaged finish.Other than the finish, it has what i think is a artificial vintage looking stain, almost the color of ripe bannana's. Now that i moved to northern maine i don't know whether to have a local repair man give it a try, or take a chance and try to send it back to westerly I no longer know how to get in touch with [The man] and have him repair it proper. I have not been playing it because i didn't want to damage it further. I could just start using it again and do nothing to it, i am on the fence. It is my favorite guild, and i think the best sounding maple guitar that i have.

Pictures would be good.

If it was me I'd be playing the G37 while I pondered having it refinished.
