As an addendum, it has long been my opinion, for me set in stone, that if the thought of resale value enters into your thoughts BEFORE you buy the guitar, it is not good enough. Pass on it. I buy few guitars and sell fewer. I'm not one that believes buying stuff is the answer. I have only once bought a guitar without playing it. I trusted the source from watching a hundred videos which mirrored my view of things. My D 35 was pure speculation, but I did play it with high action and thought it was worth a chance. That was my 70 D 35 and I bought it for $250. My other two were my 65 Texan which I could not put down for two hours, and my Santa Cruz I had to buy in the first ten minutes.
My average guitar tryout is three to five minutes. Hundreds of good guitars didn't make it past five minutes.
