Lived in Ventura for most of 1970 and surfed C Street or Hollywood most days. That was before the Hollywood localism got out of hand.

They had a tornado warning up in Ojai, CA yesterday, which is not far from Ventura/Oxnard. They were telling everyone to head to their basements. No one in Southern California has basements.... no one.

Tom - I know of at least one in San Diego (if it has not been replaced)..... but that was only because my uncle added on to the house and built it himself!
Even in the Phoenix area a basement is a rare find...

So, on Wednesday weathercaster A says" No Rain through Christmas". 2 hours later Weathercaster B says "There might be some rain in San Jose tomorrow"

Thought these people all went to the same school?

They all did!! And they've made careers out of it!! And if they actually COULD predict the weather.... they would. But weather is like mother earth.... FU!!!
