I'm trying to figure out what kind of 12 string Pete is playing. It looks mostly like a JF55-12, with a black pick guard, and DTAR pickup. But the fret markers look custom. Would he really be playing a 15 year old guitar? Perhaps its a much newer custom guitar.

As usual he sounds great playing his trademark chords.

Pete uses an F-512, and has used one since Who's Next.

Its great to see that there are some Who fans here on LTG. I love to see the 2 remaining members continue to play. Also they have become a little more acoustic orientated in their most recent performances, which I also fancy quite well.

One of the things I wish Pete and Rog would do is a smaller venue, more low key tour with just them doing an entire acoustic concert, no backup band. Pete's done solo gigs like that going back to the early 70s (he basically invented "unplugged" with his Baba concerts.) That would also help with his tinnitus, since the levels would be more manageable. He's done it with Rachel In the Attic, why not Rog?

I hadn't heard about that one. That would be fantastic. He sure would have an interesting perspective on things. Loved his solo albums ( particularly 'Chinese eyes, and' Empty glass') Loved The Who too.
Great DVD doco set out there. " Amazing journey, The story of the Who" . The 512 shows up there as well! Looking forward to that bio..
