Thanks alot Treem! I've gotta bunch more including some sitting among my amps but I'll try to post 'em later. My nephews visiting this week and he just graduated with honors from UT in AeroSpace Engineering so I think I'll hit him up on this posting thing :p .

I was really pleased with the color. And its got enough flame but not over the top flame. For a '96 it barely had a scratch on it but since having it for little over a week now I've had it in my hands constantly. I can see already its already starting to show some pick and fingernail use. Oh well, they're supposed to be "Made To Be Played"!

NICE!

My favorite color Guild burst right there. Yum. I bet it sounds amazing.

Yeah, it sounds great too! Both with the tubes cranked and the tone rolled down for the flatwound jazz stuff. It handles both genres equally well. It really shines however when its A-B'd through the Twin Amp and Blues Deluxe. The tubes don't need to get so hot before it starts to really sing, not like it did when I ran a Stratocaster though 'em anyway. And after playing a Strat for over 16 yrs. the comparitively chunky neck was like coming home. I don't run any signal between the guitar and amp (occasionally a delay) so between the humbuckers and the hollowbody I've found THE tone, for me anyway. I played a borrowed 335 for a while but just didn't fall in love with it but I absolutely love this guitar. However as I get older (51) the tinitus and deafness in the high frequencies are forcing me to play more flatwound jazz stuff (not a bad thing). But I'm not giving up entirely the hard blues stuff, thats why I've got an attenuator
