Well, you guessed wrong!

That S-300 had a glue on neck.

The Hoyer also had a glued in set neck, I was just wondering as later S-300 prototypes used bolt on necks like on a Stratocaster. That was changed to a glued in set neck again on the production versions of the S-300.

Welcome! What you had was one of the prototypes for the Guild S-300 that was done earlier in the year 1976, before the S-300 got its final shape. Only a few were made so good luck finding one of those.

I had an 1967 F-50 Rosewood that I bought from its original owner... He'd had an ex- El-Kabong the guitar, but then had it re-topped by Augie LoPrinzi in New Jersey. Ultimately, he salvaged the guitar from his irate ex-'s antics. Sometimes I wish I'd kept that guitar just for the stories.
