So, I'm playing around with Google Slides this morning. I wanted to recreate an old idea I had for a guitar club t-shirt.

But I wanted a Guild guitar outline. So, I thought I would draw one. Now, I used to draw a lot when I was in high school.
My older brother is a commercial artist, and I wanted to be able to draw like him. Here's my (outline/contour) drawing of a Guild.
It is based on an F-50, but I think it looks more like an F-40.

And here it is in the Google Slide.

I probably should finish it off in ink. I'm not happy with the headstock and saddle. Both could use some adjusting. But it was fun to sit and draw a little while this morning. What do you think?

You know Gary, you've just given me a talking point with my golf buddies. One of those buddies, my very best, belongs to Church of Christ. George has claimed that Church of Christ has no instruments because there are no instruments mentioned in the Bible. It's been a while since I've read Psalms, but this was a brief refresher, and one heck of a talking point with my buddy George. :) But he and I can have these discussions without anyone getting angry........odd isn't it? Though I will admit, he generally teaches me a thing or two.

West,
I just looked up the passage in Psalms, and yes, there are enough instruments named to start a rock band.
Sadly though for the fanboys, no brand names were mentioned.

I think you haven't lost your touch. I used to draw and paint but haven't in many years. I have been thinking lately of getting back into it, but I probably won't do very well. You, however, should keep at it!

Thank you, @Opsimath!

I think it's kind of like playing guitar. As long as you enjoy doing it, that's what matters most.
Creating is good for our souls. So get out that pencil and paper and draw, sketch, and doodle.
Most of the members here seem to have some additional activity that involves creating, other than playing guitars.

I would bet that you would do very well when you decide to start drawing and painting again.

Steel guitar players claim that our instruments were the ones mentioned in Psalm 33:3 since the common steel guitar neck is a 10-stringer !

Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to Him with ten strings
