As I head fishing, I couldn't help but think, "has RBSinTo been to the local police station for questioning after properly marking his skunk invaded property?" An answer means he wasn't detained. I wish him well in this endeavor.
Stuball48,
So far, no problems with the Constabulary, as I wore a Halloween dog costume in the yard, which apparently also fooled the neighbours. The Skunk? Maybe not so much.
I'll do a sniff test later and letcha know.
Oh. And good luck fishing for head.

November is also the month that skunks are out and about mating.
Rich,
I thought I heard "Je T'Aime" playing softly outside last night around 2:30 am. Or it mghta been " Muskrat Love", now that I think about it.
And that explains all the itty-bitty little empty liquor bottles and tiny used condoms I find scattered around the yard every morning.

How was fishing? Did you catch anything?

Bass fishing pretty good. Can, usually, catch numbers in the Fall and a few nice ones.

If the Easter Bunny leaves eggs would that encourage another bear visit?

We did an Easter Egg hunt, but placed the eggs in the morning. The issue was that the reflective cord is a long dog tie out for when playing outside with the puppies that were just born in January of that year. I hadn't put the fence up in the back yet since the ground hadn't thawed.

I'm sure there was some kibble and treats around... that is a water dish sitting there. By the time the pups were adult sized, the Bears have kept to the outskirts of the property!

They are a 140lbs and 110lbs Anatolian Shepherd Brother & Sister team (seen here on my daughter's twin bed, both almost 3 now, this picture is from this past Summer)

I got one who sings "Louise"

The sing-along part's a real screecher. Cat Doo-wop.

gorgeous dogs! I take it the boy is on the left. Just look at those massive paws! I bet they are just big lovers.....that is until there's a reason not to be.
Thanks, yes they are big softies but always watching and protecting. I was mistaken, we only had the boy, Brutus, that Easter, we rescued the sister, Junia, a few days later. She was sold to a family that had no business with a giant breed (let alone any) and the breeder asked if we were interested since she was reclaimed and not suitable for farm life any more. We also have 2 Beagles now and these 2 were as big as full grown Beagles when they were just 2-3 months old! Here they are at 12-13 weeks
