...was it a model built just in Corona or was it produced in Westerly as well? :? :? :?

I'm always been into cutaways and I'm familiar with D40C of the 70s (florentine) and the later venetians made in Corona and Tacoma, and the Westerly DCE5 (different guitar, same concept) therefor I'm curious to hear from their owners.

It appears that the D50CE was made in Westerly, judging from this link, although I've never seen one:

I own both the Corona D50CE and the Westerly DCE-5. I think the DCE-5 is rare because it is the only Guild arched back in a Rosewood that I know of. It certainly projects well, but the solid wood on the D50CE makes for a more well balanced sounding guitar. I am currently using the D50CE as my main gigging axe; it has the factory Fishman blender on the tip and a K&K on the ring, used with a dual input preamp; very sweet. I still think that the cutaways don't quite have as deep a tone as a non cutaway.

Just my $0.02 (CDN)
