My understanding is that the rosewood bridge on my American Patriarch X-500 Stuart, based on a 1956 version of the model, has a compensated rosewood bridge which would perform, intonation wise, better if the third string (G) was wound. I've attached a couple of pics of the bridge. Techies please advise. Thanks!
