The first LP I ever purchased was The Doors debut album. Only LP I ever wore out and replaced with another LP.

I've been busy with personal stuff so haven't been in touch with the world much. Once again, heard this news here first.

I love The Doors - got into them in high school in the very late 70's. Ray was certainly a huge part of what made their sound so distinctive with his pretty unique keyboard playing.

RIP Mr Manzarek.

His insights in the "Classic Albums" episode of that album were just wonderful. Made me want to buy it all over again.
Jamie if you haven't seen it I think you'd really like it, you can even buy 'em on Amazon.
