Saw him with The Wailers at Glastonbury in 2014. A great loss. Reggae legend!

I saw Marley and The Wailers in 1980, and - let's hear it for some other great Scots! - enjoyed the Average White Band (who opened for them) just as much.

Apparently Barrett fathered forty-one children, but had earned his nickname before siring all those.
