Laura Lynch, a founding member of the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) who played on the country act’s first three albums, has died at the age of 65.

So does founding member mean she was no longer with the band, or what? How sad.... only 65.

She left after the third album or so. She didn't like the itinerant life of a successful professional musician. A sad but cordial parting of ways, or so I believe.
