Roll yer own S-100.

A long time ago, I spotted this S-100 replica - body on EeekBay. Or maybe it's a DA S-73. Whatever. Thought that one day, I might create a Frankenguitar.

Also acquired on EekBay, a ( bolt on ) neck. From Australia IIRC.

Since I now have some left-over bits and pieces from modified Bluesbirds and a Blues 90 I thought it time to make a start. The headstock was originally a paddle blank so, the opportunity existed to shape it a la Guild. TRC is shaped from a piece of Greenstone (Jade) and the letter "M" is only temporary, for the sake of having something there. Dunno what, if anything I'll have. Output jack will be relocated.

I'll finish the neck with a Walnut stain and a coat of Danish Oil. Body finish will be Crystal Pearl, a current Toyota colour option. Or, it might be a BMW graphite - y colour. Might sound more refined with a BMW paint job. Or something else !!

It will finish off looking pretty nice but, who knows. It might sound like a POS !

Wow, sorry that I missed this for so long. We'll have to ask the Qvartermaster, for he is now the keeper of the list, but perhaps we could at least make some special notation in this case.
