I mentioned this on a post in the eBay forum but I thought I'd start a new one here.
Im very interested in this guitar. http://worcester.craigslist.org/msg/2887493456.html
But.. I really want a bridge humbucker. I'd like to buy it, get a new pickguard and fit it with a humbucker. I'll keep the original parts, I swear. Are these routed out for both? If I had to bust out the power tools I'd feel too guilty to do it.
Answers/opinions?

I actually made a new pick guard in shop class for the S60 I had 15 years ago.

I have an S-60D that is definitely not routed out for humbuckers.
