The rain keeps threatening to drop here in Las Vegas as well.... but so far not. Things like this are a bit overwhelming to me. I'm always blown away by the significance, followed by the insignificance of it all by turns. Makes questions like "what strings do you like on your D-40?" pale by comparison...... Thanks for posting.

8) Very very cool Ravon. That went well with my morning coffee. Puts things into a proper perspective.
Nice to see Rhode Island illustrated there too. My Guild liked that.

Mine too, John!

After watching this video I'm really confused (I find that's easy for me) :?. ... Since the universe is expanding at an increasing rate of speed and with no known central point of origin, I have to wonder if it's actually moving as fast into the very small(er?). I mean, is small as equal to the distance to the edge of the universe? Hmmm.... of course that would assume a central point of origin. Anyway, at least they represented some great States

Golly, thanks Ravon. I'm even more lost now.....

John said it, "puts things in perspective." but I'm not so sure it does. At least for me. It actually makes the enormity (or minority) of it all a bit overwhelming. I wonder if this has any bearing on my desire for a short scale guitar?

Or maybe it's just my arthritic shoulders crying out for help...... not sure.

Very true, Steffan. I like the Dean Markley Vintage Bronze strings. I had tried them on your recommendation. Just changed those out with the DR Sunbeams..... awkward to string because you can't cut them first. I like them okay. Still getting a feel for "the hand-wound string". They seem more flexible. Nice sound. Maybe not as bright as I usually prefer, but good. I'm struggling with tuning as it seems hard to get them in tune..... or when I do there still seems to be intonation problems.... still working on it. Thank goodness I have a GHS Bright Bronze set to take their place if I don't work it out.

That's my tiny little universe right now.....

Tom, this thread has someone playing the a50 with the Dean Markley Vintage strings, not only does the guitar sound good, but this stranger really did it justice.. :D Steffan (oh, and he's in this part of the universe too)
