This has probably come up before, but just wanted to give a first hand impression. A few weeks ago I picked up my 512 after having the pickup replaced and noticed some surface scratches that I never noticed before-I guess the stronger light in the shop. Been meaning to try Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0 for a while, so stopped and picked some up after work one day. Finally got around to trying it this morning, to remove some surface scratches on my F-40. A dime sized glob on an all cotton diaper and a few swipes, scratches gone. I think the scratches on mine were done when my fingernails brushed the surface and not a pick, so they were not very deep at all, not sure how it would work on slightly deeper ones, definitely not for scratches through the finish to the wood.
Conclusion, definitely worth the money and time.
