I know it's just a case, but does anyone else notice that the new Guild cases don't have that "ramp" up for the back of the guitar near the neck? Probably doesn't matter, but all my Gibson and Martin (as well as New Hartford and Westerly Guild) cases have it. In my mind, it kind of keeps pressure off the neck while it's laying down. Ah well just a thought I could be wrong!

Welcome aboard, milhous1978,

I think the Humicase is the "Protege" model that Guilds ship with these days. There are two U-shaped neck supports flanking the compartment lid. The TKL cases only had the one support down at the neck heel but the compartment lid acted as a "ramped" support for the neck.

I would say that if the two blocks are correctly shaped for the guitar, that's very good support, milhous1978.

Thank you Chazmo! I get what you're saying about the neck being supported.
I was more talking about the area I've circled in the picture I took here. The case is from a Gibson Dove. But most all higher end acoustic cases have this "hump/ramp" design. But not the newer Guilds. Anyways, I'm not losing any sleep over it, just thought I'd try to clarify what I meant, I probably didn't explain it very well the first time.
