Based on one youtube video, I've long lusted after the Dearmond S73 12. Had the 6 string version. Not bad, not the best. The 12 string version comes with the 2k pickups I appreciate so much in an M75T. Anyway, one came up for trade on TGP. I offered an equally rare and cool budget guitar (Telestar Mona). Did the deal today. Here's the DA:

The body is significantly thicker than the 6 string version. Wider neck. Solid build, on the heavy side too. Plays very well. Even with old strings, the sound is just beautiful. Heavier and more mahogany makes a huge difference. The p/us are noisy, ala P-90s. Have to see if I can get the middle p/u position to be hum cancelling. This guitar wants to play blues ... how lucky is that??

Nice. I've thought about picking one of those up for some time now. Definitely a looker, but, then again I am partial to that color.
