What were you doing there Joe?

Well, where to start.....
I had a gallery a block off the square and my photographs made up about 80% of the stock with the other 20% being a mixed bag of "arts and crafts" from other folks in town.
The building that was my gallery in the mid-70s! *Photo from 2010.
It was a 20 mile drive down the valley to open the shop and of course another 20 to get back up to the A-frame, so I let my partner run the shop more, because I wanted to roam the mountains all day/every day.
I had a darkroom up at the cabin and did all my printing, matting, and framing up there, too, so it wasn't all play. During the winter, I moved my photos around in several of the lodges and was on the ski valley security staff so I got to ski for free.
Believe it or not, as much as I loved it there, Colorado called and I answered. But that's another chapter for another day.
*This has been the Reader's Digest version of my time in the Land of Enchantment. We stopped in Taos last year (2010) after seeing you guys and man, has it changed! Still gorgeous though.
