Hard to read the number in the pic, though. It almost looks like 0x9915 which is hexidecimal so that can't be right. :)

It's definitely a '70s model, though. Not the original switch tip.

Tried to enhance a bit and I still don't know what number that is.

Doesn't matter, though. Hans is the source of truth for such things.

Just an FYI this guitar just sold on Ebay in the US last week. I'm not familiar with Gumtree but I'm surprised to see the guitar apparently for sale again. Could the Gumtree ad be fake? Or perhaps someone is flipping the guitar?

Thanks everybody. That is incredibly helpful. It is on gumtree at a low price so I now feel very suspicious but will pursue . I may be risking losing a bargain but its being offered at £500!
