Cold weather means heat and heat dries things out. Especially forced air heat. Get those humidifiers ready.
No wise "cracks" wanted. Keep your treasures in their best shape.

I just ordered a box of 10 humidifying packets from Amazon 49%. I have a small digital hygrometer/thermometer in each guitar case and monitor them every month from Dec-April when the humidity goes down to 30% in the house.

Thanksgiving through Easter for folks in the northeast.

A travel soap dish with holes drilled in it and a sponge is more effective than the commercially produced products, for a couple bucks. Dampen it, squeeze it out and store it in the headstock part of your case.
