No sir, during the war, Kenny was Crew Chief for one of the most famous "Sandy" pilots that flew rescue cover, Roger Youngblood. Roger does talks at air shows around the country about his role in Vietnam. After the war, in '94, he went to Hanoi and worked with the Communist Vietnamese to recreate battle fields and locate and repatriate American remains. He is quite the historian and researcher. Kenny attended college after the war, and went back in as an officer.Do I recall correctly he was out there on the cutting edge, Forward Air Controller in Viet Nam? Talk about walking a tightrope.
