were it not for for the huge intervals, 6 frets, but the chord shapes are all the same, going across this way and that, finding the most extreme bass/treble notes, neat.

The body is made from recycled old victorian furniture.
Ah, I found a video where you can see it better. Appears to be some kind of frame around it, covered with fabric. Not something I would buy, but he plays much better than me, so there!

Looks like some sort of Steinberger-esq guitar with a frame around it to make it fit like a normal guitar.
