Maybe not as dramatic as Cruz' walkoff grand slam, but a first nontheless :D

"A swift turn of events in the sixth helped Detroit pull ahead. The Tigers turned a bases-loaded double play to keep the score tied at 2, then opened the bottom half with a single, double, triple and homer—in order—to take a 6-2 lead.

It was the first time four consecutive batters on one team hit for a “natural” cycle in a postseason game, according to STATS LLC."

Personally, after last night I was getting a little weary of these teams being tied 3-3 in the ninth inning of a rain-delayed game, then the Rangers winning it 7-3 in the 11th!

Hey, I heard the Tigers and verlander played a good one. I worked late tonight and wasn't able to watch. It should be interesting when the come to Arlington.......and this is Guitar Show weekend.

Last year, after having checked eBay and Stub hub, I couldn't find tickets for ALCS game 1 for under about $150 apiece, then we pulled in to the Sheraton for the Guitar Show. On of the valets asked if there was anything else he could do? I said, "Sure, find me some tickets for tonight's game" (in 3 hours). He called a guy and had me 3 tickets within 5 minutes at $20 over face value....$80 bucks and fabulous seats!. I asked permission of the LTGers to go to the game and they gave it. My wife, son and myself certainly enjoyed that night last year. And this year's ALCS in Arlington, on Guitar Show weekend is certainly bringing back fond memories. I'll not only miss the ALCS, but I'll miss the LTG convention. There's always next year! We did make an ALDS game against the Tampa Bays Rays a couple of weeks ago. :)

Good luck to the Tigers Marc.

Congratulations to Tiger's fans on a great season Marc. Man, what fabulous pitching the Tigers have. Tonight just wasn't their night. Not a thing to be ashamed of though, the Rangers may have the best hitting team I've ever seen.
