I picked up my D-25M tonight and played some old favorites including "Cotton Jenny" by Gordon Lightfoot, and "The Dangling Conversation" by Paul Simon. :D

I learned a lot of fingerpicking style by practicing Gordon Lightfoot songs - Christian Island, Don Quixote, Did She Mention My Name, Cobwebs & Dust, Cotton Jenny, and another real favorite, "Boss Man" in drop "D" tuning.

I have his Anthology guitar books 1 & 2, they cover all his stuff I used to listen to back in the day.

Then you gotta love "Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald." Man, you don't even want to go to those "icewater mansions."

That reminds me, Lightfoot is coming to town, I think I shall have to get tickets for me & Mrs. Dread :D

I liked his song "Alberta Bound" and added it my set list. The song was a little short so I added a third verse.
I have received nice comments from people that I have played it to.
I also have both song books. Got them in the early 80's, if I can remember that far back.
That was when I still had my old D-212.
