I agree with your conclusion.im looking at a late 70’s sunburst F-30 for $1300 and late 70’s F-50 blonde for 3k. I think the F-30 seems right and the F-50 is high.
Yeah, the F50 is high. There are currently a couple F50s on reverb for $2,500 (one is an "F55 Maple," which is essentially an F50. Actually, they're on my watch list -- I'm watching to see if the sellers reduce the price.)im looking at a late 70’s sunburst F-30 for $1300 and late 70’s F-50 blonde for 3k. Yeah, that one ended up here with me. Plenty of checking (but I don't care) and I was concerned with it being a Corona build but it's turned out to be one of my best sounding guitars.Yeah, the F50 is high. (I notice there are quite a few F50s that sold for less than $2,000, like this nice burst in excellent condition that sold for $1,500. Jeez, where was I four months ago?)
Ditto on the Corona concerns but literally one G strum sold me on the JF-30. It has become my favorite as well.Yeah, that one ended up here with me. Plenty of checking (but I don't care) and I was concerned with it being a Corona build but it's turned out to be one of my best sounding guitars.
