Aren't they kind of underbuilt compared to some Westerly pumps, or were those Waverly pumps?
it honestly depends what you're looking for from a pump. When talking fuel pumps I usually go for smooth, but some people prefer full or even creamy. *





*I'm only satirising the way people talk about pickups and guitar tone in general rather than the OP in particular.

On a more serious note, all we are ever actually talking about is timbre (colloquially known as EQ) and amplitude envelope. The most informative thing would be to post a spectroscopic frequency response diagram like speaker nerds do - at least it means something and is actually properly comparable, whereas of course one poster's creamy is another's full.
