Probably been asked before but I don't recall seeing any informed opinons:
Wonder if that thing made it onto any of the Revolver cuts?
"And Your Bird Can Sing", or "She Said She Said"", maybe?

Great clip!!

According to Andy Babiuk, author of "Beatles Gear", it was never used. Too bad, I'm sure it would have sounded great on any of the Revolver tracks!

If you are into the Beatles and their equipment, this book is the "bible". Very well researched and written. What you end up thinking is compared to today's bands, they really did not use much stuff (never mind not having a "guitar tech" or anything like that). The classic example is Lennon using his Casino almost exclusively for several years. There's a great clip in the "Imagine" movie, where Lennon is complaining about the Casino not playing comfortably (circa 1971). You can't help but yell at the screen, "So get a new one, you can afford it!".

If only he had presented it to George, instead. A missed opportunity.

Yeah, that photo in Hans' book of Mark D presenting the 12 string to John, George must be thinking "What the hell am I, a potted plant ?!

He should have had two guitars made, and presented to both George and John

To add insult to injury - not only was the Beatles Edition SF XII never used for recording/performing, she has ended up in a locked Plexiglas case at The HardRock in Hawaii - never to sing her sweet song again. :(
