White 80's or 90's X-500 ?!?

Just saw one Saturday - anyone ever see one in this color before? I'm completely blown away.

One odd thing - It had a column of wood underneath the bridge that connected the top to the back - is this something anyone else has seen in an X-500 before?

Anyway, I can't imagine how many white ones might be out there. Not many, right?

A white X500! That sure sounds like a custom finish.

In regard to the sound post under the bridge...there have been reports of some X-500's made this way. I for one would be interested in finding one. I don't know what designates a X-500 guitar to have a sound post or not have a sound post. Hopefully Hans can advise us of that nuance.
