Why is the depth of the Corona's JF-30 different ?

I noticed most JF-30 have the same depth at upper and lower bouts (5"), but mine (obviously a 2002-2003 Corona) is thinner (4") at the upper bout than the lower (5"). Any info about this, and why?

Where are you seeing the other measurement? I'd expect the upper bout on most/nearly any acoustic(s) to be shallower than the lower bout.

The others JF30 I saw on photos or videos or specs, seemed to have the same depth at both bouts (5" I guess), but correct me if I'm wrong.
