I'm sorry to create another one :) I've found that 1.3T size pins fit the Oxnard guilds well, and the 4.2D pins fit the Westerly Guilds. However, the New Hartford guitars seem to have a different pin size. It's like a 1.3T but bigger:
Diameter below skirt: 0.207"
Diameter down 0.75": 0.180"
Diameter at bottom: 0.169"
Length below skirt: 0.940"

So, it seems to be closest to a 3 degree pin, but 1.3T is too loose in the hole..Anybody else tried to get pins for a New Hartford guitar and found the same?
Thanks,
Rob

Hello

Unless the fitting of pin into hole wo strings matters - think how the pin works - you insert the string ball end into hole - deep enough - put ANY stick, rod, etc into the hole - it prevents the string end coming back up.

I have used metal shelf-support-nail in my old Gibson since decades - because it was handy at the time I run out of pins . . .
