One of my colleagues is going out to talk to the design firm that helped make this JamStix MIDI guitar product possible. I told her to bring me back one after her interview. :wink:

If you've never played with a guitar-based midi controller you are missing some fun. They are a blast, but they've been around for decades in one form or another.

I designed/built one for my thesis as part of my BE degree before they were commercially available (I think) back in 1985. I only did a mono version as I had a standard pickup (not a hexaphonic one). Still, when I played some notes on my Ibanez Blazer & the same notes with a synth voice came out of the Yamaha DX7, I dropped to the floor of the lab & did the worm in delight. :eek: :D :lol:

I'll have to pick one up one day.
