    Sheryl Crow is responsible for popularizing this bass. When I was on the hunt for a hollow version, her name came up all the time! She's got taste.

    If anyone is intrested how she originaly got the idea for the M-85,
    I suggest you stop into the Guild forum at the Dudepit.com

    mgod, Dan Schwartz, Sheryl's original studio bass player, has several posts on this, and it is eye opening to say the least........

    i saw her doing a public christmas show on tv last year and her guitar player was using a paloma for the song :)
