Pat Metheny and D-40C

Sighted in use again!

My wife and I saw Pat Metheny at our local Civic Auditorium: "The Orchestrion Tour."

Great show. He played some solo guitar pieces, as well as with his "robots." During one section of the show he was again using the stand mounted Guild D-40C.

Good show. Four thumbs up.

Pat's a crazy genius. The older he gets the more he starts to like Albert Einstein.

Cartoon I stole from my youngest (29).

I think it was from a faux-pamphlet showing Jesus riding a dinosaur (hence the rope through its teeth).
He's all about irony (like Bill Hicks), ever since he read some Nietzsche. :roll:

He used to play that D40C on a stand when they used to open up with Phase Dance, good to see it's getting used. He played a lot of Guilds back in the day.
