here is my usual set-up:
guitar/ pedal steel (yes I use the same setup! ) right to left:
Boss Tu-2 > MXRcompressor >Blues Driver W/Keeley mod >Boss DS-1 >Boss DD-3 digital Delay > amp... the AB-2 is just a switch so I can change from pedal steel to Tele on those double duty gigs :)
lets see what the rest of you use :D

Cool, Steelpickin'. I've been playing with a compressor and a couple distortion boxes trying to induce feedback at low volume. It seems to require too much fuzz for my taste though.

I'm just an at-home player, but I've started fooling around with some pedals, including some BYOC kits I've built. That's a BYOC fuzz pedal my daughter painted for me, the Nocturne Dyno Brain by Tavo Vega (a pedal version of the Space Echo preamp - seems to add some sparkle and clarity), and a TU 2 on the top row. Next is the Micro Vibe, a BYOC OD2 tube screamer type pedal, a BYOC 250+ distortion my other daughter painted, and a Boss DM3 delay for the all-important slapback.

Okay, here is my mess....

My favorites are the HK Tube Factor and the 2 Eventides on top of the stool. In the background is the pedal board for the bass rig.

Thanks! mine's a '53 also. Similar tuning here, E7 front and C6 back. The back neck pickup works but needs some attention. I think it has the typical "collapse" issue of the trapezoids. I primarily use the front neck anyway.

This is how we 'Pedal our Boards' in Texas, boys. 8)

photo-26-1.jpg
In a meandering but generally clockwise direction, signal-chain starts in lower right hand corner, at 5 o'clock. AB box into either: A) Tuner or B) old Wah pedal > Ibanez TS9 > Custom 'Clean Boost' pedal (with bass & treble controls) > Klon Centaur > Ernie Ball volume pedal > TC Electronics Chorus Flanger > Custom Leslie effect called a Rotasia (built on a Ross Flanger chassis; fast, slow, 'motor-brakes' like a Leslie), A/B/A+B box (split for amps) > small looper for the two Boss delay pedals (1st: single slap back, 2nd: 3-4 slaps) > out of looper to small amp AB output-box in upper right corner. Powered by a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power, mounted upside down underneath the Tuner.

The idea is, wah if you need it, 3 basic kinds of Overdrive, Volume pedal, two sweetener pedals, simple delays, then throw it into 2 different amps.

I've got way better gain options with the Pearl and one knob fuzz.

Battery powered pedal board. I love this thing.
