I'm sure the price paid includes a premium because it is Guild branded. The label, originality and relative rarity would seem to be driving the price more than the function.

I've used a $10 round hole in my D4. Even with a bit cut away so I could access the volume control, it works great!

Reminds me of why I threw away the soundhole humidifier that came with my F65ce...it was round.... LOL!
