I have this Guitar, serial number 100015. According to what I have read it is rare as only 121 were made. I got mine in 1986, new.

I am curious as to how much you have heard this instrument is worth. I am going to have it appraised, but still would like to know if anyone has any ideas

The guitar is in perfect condition, as if it were right out of the box, not a scratch, which is a miracle , considering that I have lugged around to many places.

I happen to have that model also. Mine is #24. I saw one a few years back on Gruhn's website. He had priced it at $2000. I would think that, assuming yours is as good as you say, it should be in that neighborhood easily.

I bought mine from a local luthier about 12 years ago. When he first showed it to me I couldn't believe the depth of sound it projected, since the body is not deep like the dreadnaughts I have. The neck is exceptionally comfortable, almost too narrow. It has a feel not unlike an old Epiphone Casino I once had. You should have no trouble finding an interested buyer since it is a rare and desirable Guild.

Does it have the Codesigned with George Gruhn label?

Ive played two of these and kick myself for not snagging one.

I'd say 1800 to 2200 bucks if it has the label and is in the shape you say....maybe a little more if you were patient.

Effin', I'm suspecting both you and Dreadnut got sucked in by Jorge's revival of a 4-year old thread.
Of course, I guess anything's possible and it might still be for sale... and assuming member SGspeed is still lurking around after 2 posts.
The last one being the one that started this thread....

I have this guitar.
F46 NT serial# KJ100109.
I bought it in 1986 and used it playing in clubs and bars in Baltimore area for over 10 years.
It shows some wear but is basically in good shape.
I did have a Fishburn under bridge piezo pickup installed by a local music store. They caused minor cosmetic damage to the side of the guitar. It doesn't affect the playability of the instrument and is only visible to the player.
I have retired from the music business and have no need for it anymore.
I will entertain any reasonable offer.

I just wonder when we can expect the first "GID" ( Gruhn Inspired Design ) acoustics to come rolling out of grand rewards / China.. After "Newark Street" ( Korea ) and "Westerly Collection" it seems the natural progression..

Don't forget they only build what CMG tells 'em to.
And given that the time/location sequencing seems to be moving forward I'm betting more on seeing a new Corona Extra line.
