The very definition of "a problem". :)

Good luck!

That is absolutely stunning in every way! Number 42 for the win!

And I think you've inspired me to get a black pick guard on my '77. That's just a great look, if you ask me.

Great score, Dave! Really fantastic!

I was basing my response on Kent's "Number 42 for the win!" comment, thinking he might have been talking about serial numbers and perhaps not drc's 42nd Guild purchase?

That said, is there any idea how many first reissues were made with HB-1s before they switched to Duncans?

So some of the '94's were Duncan's w/ HB-1 covers?

Yes, I owned #47 for a time and it was set up the same way, classic Mueller roller bridge, HB-1 Covers and pickup rings, Seymore duncan pickups underneath. And if one were inclined to swap in a set of genuine HB1's, no routing or alteration is required, just a touch of soldering and you're done.

This guitar was an incredible score. Congrats, DRC!

He is referring to the serial...check out the pics on PB.

So, drc...what's under the hood, brother? :excitement:

I like the SD's. Definitely not HB-1's, but very nice sound.

I hear ya brother.... nothing beats the tone of a 73 ;) but playability isn't the forte of these vintage puppies.
But when you're in love, you forget about these petty details. :)
