Looks like a F-50 is being played in the guitarist selections. What's wild is that I grew up with the guy playing electric blues slide. He lives in CA now but we both grew up south of Buffalo. That was over 40 years ago.

I like that he named the capo after his kid.

I bought four of them when it launched on Kickstarter. I'm gonna give some as Christmas gifts!

Aside from the aesthetics of the thing, I don't see a lot of difference between the Thalia and a Kyser. Both use a lever to allow one-hand deployment, and both deliver a set tension via a helical spring. Those of us who dislike the Kyser one-tension-fits-all approach will dislike the Thalia. Myself, I abandoned my old Hamilton lever-and-spring capo as soon as Shubbs appeared.

The Thalias are certainly pretty, though.

Looks more like G7th capo to me.
I have a G7th and I'm not impressed with it.
I have a few Kyser capos and I have expressed my dislike of them here before. I'll stick with the Shubb and Paige capos.
They are by far the best capos that I have ever used.

All in all, I am not a capo fan. Lose too much tone. Yes, B flat sucks, but I don't play often enough in that world to matter. 😄
