Ah, that's too bad, I did not even know he was ill. I will always love '70's Yes music. It blew me away when I first heard it, and still does today. Outstanding bass player and harmony vocalist...

That's too bad. I think Jon Anderson introduced him as "Captain Thunder" in the concert I went to. I think it was the "Talk" tour.

shame. got majorly into Yes in my teens, about 15 years after their heyday, and went to see the classic line-up reformed at Wembley. Around the same time I was in a play with Chris's daughter Carmen and excitedly got his autograph when he came to the show.

He was a tremendous bassist. Sorry and surprised to see he's gone already.
