NGD Tobacco Sunburst Nightbird

A month or so ago, in the context of another thread, I read that Hans Moust had several Nightbirds, and might be interested to sell one. I've been thinking of getting a Nightbird for a long time, and the opportunity was there, so I PMed Hans to express my interest, and started a dialog.

Now I'm happy to share the result:

A beautiful maple-top Nightbird GG in Tobacco Sunburst, with all-chrome hardware, and in great condition. Its a beauty, and sounds and plays terrific! The guitar originally had other pickups, but Hans sourced a pair of HB-1s, and offered to install them in the guitar. They work really well in the Nightbird (as others have mentioned).

I couldn't be happier, and want to give a big thanks to Hans for agreeing to part with this beauty, that I'm now enjoying playing!

Is it really tobacco? It looks Brockburst in the pics. I *love* brockburst, but am not a fan of tobacco.

Here's the original Brockburst (the namesake). Brockburst tends to have more of a deep deep red where tobacco tends to be more brown.
