Well, I'm not sure exactly why, but I just bought this. I don't play electric gear a lot but do like to mess around with a few pieces from time to time and experiment with different sounds.

Some of you will likely not care for the color but it was a main draw for me. Also, I've always enjoyed the P 90 sound so I'm curious what this one will be like. I also like the fact that it's a simplified electronics set up without all the switches etc. I had a vintage early 60's one I shared pics about on this forum a while back. It was a lot of fun but I never did figure out all the switches etc. I guess I'd just rather plug it in play with a couple switches/controls and call it a day.

Anyway, that's it from Barton City.

Yeah, I can understand buying that! I love P-90's too. Beautiful guitar, I hope you enjoy it.

No, I decided I'm fine with my Peavey Delta Blues and I also just picked up an older Fender Bassman that's pretty sweet.

I like the Pelham blue. But I do think the guitar would look better with a white pickguard and black pickup covers. :)

Re. complex wiring: last weekend I took my Coral Hornet to a friend's house for a friendly jam. Most of the other folks there had never seen a Hornet, so I let 'em all have a go on it. This is a guitar with two pickups, three kinda/sorta volume knobs and four tone switches. It was funny to see all the puzzled expressions as each person tried to figure out what exactly the controls did. (I'm not entirely sure myself!)
